Art Adventures
In this popular, year-long art class, students will be introduced to a variety of art media including drawing, painting, paper-mâché, sculpting and many other artistic techniques throughout the year. Students will be encouraged to develop their artistic talents as well as learn new skills through a variety of age-appropriate projects. Some projects may take more than one class. -
Dance
This class, taught by Marilyn Daniels and Marilyn Jacobs of the Marilyn Youmans School of Dance of Savannah, offers an introduction to ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and lyrical dance styles with a focus on rhythm, technique, coordination, flexibility and performance skills while building students' confidence. Black leotards, black or pink tights or black shorts instead of tights, pink ballet shoes, and caramel (tan) tap shoes are recommended but not required. Offered for grades PK-1 and 2-5. -
Krafty Kids
Krafty Kids This introductory class will provide the basis for kids to become comfortable creating with different types of media. Students will explore an array of different topics such as macramé, polymer clay creations, candle-making, hand-knitting, paper-making and so much more! Crafts will change seasonally, and each week will be something new! Open to students in grades 3-5.
