This is the mandatory registration form and $25 fee for Summer Camp 2026. It is an annual fee and process to be completed as the first step in enrolling in Community Education's Summer Camp 2026.
Great course for first-time drivers. Includes 30 hours of classroom or virtual instruction and six hours behind the wheel. Must have learners permit.
The Magic of Watercolor
In this course, students will learn the basics of working with watercolors and creating watercolor paintings from local artist Paul Downs. Each weekly one-hour class will build on the previous week’s lesson. This will conclude with the creation of an 6x9 watercolor painting. The class will learn the fundamentals of how to paint with watercolors, how to use additional tools in their creation, and how to finish and display watercolor art. See examples of Paul's work below.
I am a self-taught full time mixed media artist currently based in Richmond Hill, GA. I work in watercolors, oils and acrylic paints in a variety of styles. I participate in multiple local art shows each year in Savannah and surrounding areas. I currently serve on the board of Arts on the Coast as co-vice president. I participate in many local shows and comic, horror and anime cons throughout the southeast. I am also an exhibiting artist in Gallery 11 (Bobby Bagley Fine Art Gallery) in Savannah City Market.
