Welcome to Bryan County School's
Community Education
Before & After School Program

Thank you for your patience during this difficult period.

Based on the Governor’s latest guidelines for summer camps in Georgia, we are now planning to open Passport to NEW Adventure Camp beginning June 8 – June 26 at the Community Education campus. We are planning a fun and exciting camp for grades Pre-K – 8. There will be no field trips, but campers will be spending time on the Community Education, Richmond Hill Primary and Elementary School campuses. No transport in buses will be provided. The Specialty Camps are scheduled for June 8 - July 31. Please note that a few Specialty Camps have been cancelled or are pending. If your camp has been affected, you will be notified in a separate email as soon as status is finalized.

If you have already registered for Passport to NEW Adventure or Specialty Camps beginning the week of June 8 or later, and you plan to attend camp, you do not need to re-register. If you have not registered, you can register at https://bryan.ce.eleyo.com/If you are registered for camp and do not plan to attend email CommunityEducation@bryan.k12.ga.us.

Here are the basic guidelines we will follow for all Summer Camp activities:

  •  All campers will be screened prior to entering classrooms.
  •  Parents must remain in the vehicle for drop-off.
  • Campers will spend the day in groups of less than 20, including teachers and assistants.
  • Camp facilities – tables, chairs, restrooms, and all surfaces frequently touched by campers and/or staff will be sanitized multiple times per day.
  • Individual blankets or other items are not allowed. Pre-K campers will be provided a large towel to nap on during the day. Campers may bring backpacks with camper’s names clearly marked.
  •  Camp staff will be instructed to wear PPE (Personalized Protective Equipment), primarily masks and gloves when working closely with campers and cleaning rooms and surfaces each day.
  • All meals (lunches and snacks) must be provided by parents and sealed in plastic bags with the camper’s name on each bag. All campers will remain in the same group when having lunch or snacks.

Passport to NEW Adventure Camp will open at 7:00 am, and campers will be escorted to their classrooms. Camp activities will begin at 9:00 am and end at 4:00 pm. Campers may remain in their groups until final pick-up at 6:00 pm. No before or after care will be offered for Specialty Camps.  Specialty Camps will open 15 minutes prior to start times for drop-off, and pick-up will be at the scheduled end time for the class. Parents are responsible for drop-off and pick-up at the scheduled camp location for all Specialty Camps.

·All other requirements outlined in the Passport to NEW Adventure Summer booklet.
