Little Hands, Big Art!
In this creative class, young artists will explore a variety of art materials while making cute keepsakes to treasure. Children will try out different mediums in a fun, age-appropriate way, encouraging imagination, hands-on discovery, and a love of art. Open to grades PK-1.
I have been teaching art for over 20 years in a variety of settings. Currently, I teach art at Dr. George Washington Carver Elementary School, where I enjoy helping students explore creativity through hands-on projects. Outside of the classroom, I love working with pottery and sculpture. I am married, with children who recently graduated from Richmond Hill High School and are now attending college. Our family also includes two dogs who keep us entertained.
