Fundamentals of Weight Training Summer Program

Fundamentals of Weight Training Summer Program This course is a beginner-level program that teaches athletes the fundamentals of safe strength training. Over eight weeks, participants will learn proper form, basic lifting techniques, and how to build simple workouts using free weights, resistance bands, and bodyweight exercises. Each session includes a warm-up, guided instruction, and a weight training workout routine. Students will keep track of progress and document how much stronger they have gotten during this period. *This course is an eight-week course that begins in one fiscal year and ends in the next fiscal year. Due to system limitations and the requirement to keep the revenue from fiscal years separate, the class is being posted as two four-week sessions in two separate catalogues with two separate charges. Students enrolled in the June session will be automatically enrolled in the July session once it opens and charged for the second part of the course.
