Campers will explore painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, printmaking, and more while discovering new ways to express their ideas. Students will build confidence, make new friends, and most importantly—have fun being creative. Whether your child already loves art or is just beginning their artistic journey, this camp is the perfect place to create, explore, and grow this summer! Open to students entering grades 2-5. Before and after care are available for this camp.
I have been teaching art for over 20 years in a variety of settings. Currently, I teach art at Dr. George Washington Carver Elementary School, where I enjoy helping students explore creativity through hands-on projects. Outside of the classroom, I love working with pottery and sculpture. I am married, with children who recently graduated from Richmond Hill High School and are now attending college. Our family also includes two dogs who keep us entertained.
