If you like LEGO® bricks, you’ll LOVE this! Snapology provides a fun environment for children to learn science, technology, engineering, art and math using LEGO® bricks and other similar building toys. We want to inspire your children to be creators and innovators for life! Your child is sure to have a blast whether learning about sensors while building drills and magic wands, or discovering how to think in new and creative ways to self-monitor plans, generate solutions to problems, and construct innovative builds all on their own! Shhh…don’t tell them it’s educational! Session 2: Creature Creator Robotics - PK/K Class Only (October 15-November 19) In Snapology's Creature Creator Robotics class, your animal lover will create their own animal inspired robotic models. Students will learn about gear ratio, sensors, simple machines, and programming as they build insects, dolphins, gorillas, and much more. Your child is sure to have a wild time as they build, learn, and play. GameBots Robotics- All Classes Except PK/K (October 15-November 19 and October 16-November 20) Calling all gamers! Have a blast creating robotic games while learning about robotics. Students will learn about gear ratio, sensors, programming, and pulleys as they create fun to play games. Whether creating a robotic hockey player, pinball machine, or a ring toss, your child is sure to have fun building, learning, and playing. Session 3: Ocean Explorers - PK/K Class Only (December 3-January 21) Your child will have so much fun learning all about the ocean and the different sea life that live there! Survivor- All Classes Except PK/K (December 3-January 21 and December 4-January 22) Are you ready for a challenge? Snapology’s S.T.E.A.M. Survivor program will put your students’ design, building, and critical thinking skills to the test! They will be given daily challenges for which they must design functional solutions with their teammate! They will earn Survivor Bucks when they perform well and be able to use those survivor bucks to purchase supplies or prizes throughout the camp. The goal of this program is to encourage our students to carefully work through the engineering design process to see how often they can design with a purpose.
