If you like LEGO® bricks, you’ll LOVE this! Snapology provides a fun environment for children to learn science, technology, engineering, art and math using LEGO® bricks and other similar building toys. We want to inspire your children to be creators and innovators for life! Your child is sure to have a blast whether learning about sensors while building drills and magic wands, or discovering how to think in new and creative ways to self-monitor plans, generate solutions to problems, and construct innovative builds all on their own! Shhh…don’t tell them it’s educational!
Session 3:
Ocean Explorers - PK/K Class Only (December 3-January 21)
Your child will have so much fun learning all about the ocean and the different sea life that live there! Using our K'NEX Ocean Building set, students will build a different sea animal each week... Whether it be one of the largest animals known to live on our earth, or a tiny crustacean, they are sure to have a blast! Shhh... don't tell them it's educational!
S.T.E.A.M. Survivor- All Classes Except PK/K (December 3-January 21 and December 4-January 22)
Are you ready for a challenge? Snapology’s S.T.E.A.M. Survivor program will put your students’ design, building, and critical thinking skills to the test! They will be given weekly challenges for which they must design functional solutions with their teammate! They will earn Survivor Bucks when they perform well and be able to use those survivor bucks to purchase supplies or prizes throughout the session. The goal of this program is to encourage our students to carefully work through the engineering design process to see how often they can design with a purpose.
Session 4:
Junior Engineering - PK/K Class Only (January 28-March 4)
In this class, students will design and build exciting models using DUPLO® bricks while exploring how things work. Through hands-on building and guided play, children will discover simple machines such as pulleys, levers, gears, wheels, and axles. They’ll also investigate big ideas like energy, balance, and buoyancy in an age-appropriate, playful way. Each class includes time for open-ended building, encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and confidence as young engineers bring their ideas to life.
Amusement Park Engineering- All Classes Except PK/K (January 28-March 4 and January 29-March 5)
We bet your child loves going to amusement parks to experience the variety of fast, dropping, and spinning rides, but have they ever thought about the science that goes into building those rides and the people who are responsible for designing them? In Snapology’s Amusement Park Engineering class, students will become engineers of their own amusement park rides and will learn the core physics and engineering concepts used to make a ride thrilling!
