Add some variety to your list of sport accomplishments through the Track & Field Spring Speed program. Let your child experience the thrill of racing their friends while realizing their physical and mental potential. This five-session speed program, designed and led by RHHS’s USATF certified, 12x Savannah Morning News’ Coach of the Year, Levi Sybert, brings focus to the speed side of the sport of Track & Field in a fun and interactive way. Participants will meet at Richmond Hill High’s Track Complex where they will be paired up with students of similar ability in order to prepare for their meet with the high school students at the Apex Invite. Our goal is that each child will experience first hand how to find fun and thrill in an activity they can do anywhere at anytime. Open to grades K-5. No transport available for this class.

    Volleyball Skills & Drills

Beginner class is designed to teach beginners the fundamentals of volleyball. We use a lighter ball, smaller court segments and lower nets. The program’s focal point is fun and enjoyment while developing agility, hand and eye coordination, body movement, and ball control work. Team play is incorporated with motor learning and skill development. Reminders: Bring water and proper sports attire (shorts, T-shirt, and comfortable running sneakers with good grip or volleyball shoes). **If you have/plan on buying volleyball shoes, they are STRICTLY meant for indoor court use. Please come in a different pair of shoes (i.e; crocs, slides, flip flops), and once inside, player can change shoes. Please make sure socks are brought or worn. Knee pads are suggested but not required. No transport is available for this class.
