What is Playball?
Playball is a fun and active program where children learn the basic skills they need to play sports — and so much more.
Our lessons are designed to help kids grow in every way. We teach the fundamentals of sports in a way that’s age-appropriate, playful, and encouraging. For example, your child will learn:
But Playball is more than just sports. Every session is also focused on building your child’s social and emotional skills. We help children:
Each program is tailored to your child’s age and stage of development:
For 3- and 4-Year-Olds (WATCH ME PLAY) At this age, children learn through fun and group play. Our lessons help them follow simple instructions, work with others, and try new sports skills in a caring, supportive environment.
For 4- and 5-Year-Olds (DINKIES) This program helps children build confidence as they begin school. We focus on improving sports abilities and encouraging independence. Kids learn how to deal with frustration, work with a partner, and grow in all areas — physical, social, and emotional.
For 5- and 6-Year-Olds (PREPS) Older kids are ready to develop their skills even more. We introduce more structured sports techniques like shooting a basketball or dribbling a soccer ball. We also work on teamwork, leadership, and how to perform with control and confidence.
At Playball, our goal is to give your child a strong, happy start — not just in sports, but in life.
