This is the mandatory registration form and $25 fee for Summer Camp 2024. It is an annual fee and process to be completed as the first step in enrolling in Community Education's Summer Camp 2024.
Great course for first-time drivers. Includes 30 hours of classroom or virtual instruction and six hours behind the wheel. Must have learners permit.
Branches of Science
What is science? Is it a subject in school? A way of thinking? A career? Science is knowledge and understanding of the world around us. In the Branches of Science camp, students will spend a day with a branch of science to really explore it. Branches of science will feature Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geology, and Astronomy. Students will investigate, play, create, and experiment in each branch of science. The camp is taught by Cynthia Youmans. Mrs. Youmans teaches at Richmond Hill Middle School and enjoys helping young minds learn how much fun science can be. Open to students entering grades 3 - 6. Before and after care are available for this camp.
Cindy Youmans is currently on teaching staff at Richmond Hill Middle School and has 18 years’ experience classroom experience. She holds a Bachelor of Science with a major in biology with a double minor is chemistry and psychology for Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC. Mrs. Youmans also holds Masters of Education from Georgia Southern University. Her Science for Kids course is a popular one-hour STEM class.
