This is the mandatory registration form and $25 fee for Summer Camp 2026. It is an annual fee and process to be completed as the first step in enrolling in Community Education's Summer Camp 2026.
Great course for first-time drivers. Includes 30 hours of classroom or virtual instruction and six hours behind the wheel. Must have learners permit.
Pack your (imaginary) passport and get ready for a week of language, laughter, and global adventure! In this fun and energetic Spanish & French Language Camp, students will explore two exciting world languages side by side through music, games, movement, crafts, and hands-on activities. Campers will learn basic greetings, fun expressions, the alphabet, colors, weather, foods, family words, and more — all while discovering the vibrant cultures, traditions, and holidays of Spanish- and French-speaking countries. From singing catchy songs to playing interactive games and creating themed crafts, each day will feel like traveling to a new place around the world. This camp is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and show students how fun learning a new language can be. No prior experience is needed — just a willingness to play, explore, and try something new! Open to students entering grades 3-5. Before care is available for this camp. After care is NOT available for this camp.
Ms. Amy Diggs has been teaching French for over 20 years. Ms. Diggs has experience working with all levels of language learners. She loves sharing her passion for the French language with students through fun and engaging activities.
Kimberly Kinnecom has been a Spanish teacher at Richmond Hill High School since 2017. She previously taught in New England, North Carolina, and Florida, and has lived and worked in the Dominican Republic. Her international experience also includes travel and professional work throughout Latin America, including Guatemala, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, Peru, and Mexico. Kimberly focuses on helping learners feel comfortable hearing and using Spanish in a natural, encouraging environment, with an emphasis on communication, confidence, and enjoying the learning process.
