Youth Movement, Sport & Fitness Camp

The mission of this camp is to provide a structured, engaging youth movement and sports experience that builds physical skills, confidence, teamwork, and healthy habits through guided training, recreational sports, and short character‑development lessons. Participants are expected to show improvement in coordination, agility, balance, and overall movement confidence. The program also aims to strengthen teamwork, sportsmanship, effort, and personal responsibility in group settings. Open to students ages 5-10. Before and after care are available for this camp.

My name is Imani Wright-Graham. I am a wife, mother of three, Army veteran, and a six-year resident of Bryan County. I served as a combat medic, where I treated injured soldiers and managed a wide range of medical situations, which strengthened my commitment to safety, structure, and preventative care. I also grew up participating in competitive sports through school, AAU, and travel teams, spending many years in training and developmental camp environments. Those experiences showed me firsthand how youth programs like these build life skills that extend far beyond a gym or playing field, even when children may not yet recognize their long-term impact.

As a parent of two young sons, ages seven and four, I see their growing interest in sports and competition, but more importantly, I recognize the need to help them develop teamwork, discipline, and character as future members of this community. I started this camp to give children a structured, positive space to stay active with their peers during the summer while developing strong athletic foundations and practical character skills that will support them as they grow. I am an NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Nutrition Coach with a background in rehabilitation science and youth movement development. I design and lead structured youth fitness and athletic development programs that focus on coordination, agility, balance, foundational strength, and movement confidence. My approach emphasizes safety, organization, and age-appropriate progressions so that every child — regardless of athletic ability — can participate and grow. With my prior military experience, I overstand the importance of the core values that are emphasized and nurtured during this camp. Most of all, I understand the value of community involvement in strengthening these core values to make for a more enriched society. This camp serves as a foundation not only for developing athletic ability, but also for strengthening social and emotional skills that support students both on and off the field.  I have successfully led youth movement and sports camps that combine physical skill building, teamwork, and healthy habit education in an engaging and supportive environment. My goal is to help young participants build confidence in movement, develop positive activity habits, and experience success through structured, well-run programs.
