Applied Music

Students in this course will have a curriculum tailored to their individual needs and level as they study musical instrument methods, theory, aural skills, and history. Students may choose to focus on voice, piano, strings, composition and songwriting, or other band/orchestra/popular musical instruments they would like to explore or improve. (The instructor has a master's degree in music and over a decade of experience teaching and performing in multiple modalities. ) Students should provide their own instruments and bring a blank bullet journal or sketchbook to class. A questionnaire will be sent out prior to the start of lessons to help design each student's learning plan for their current goals.

Please note that your registration does not confirm your enrollment in the class. You will be contacted once assigned to an available class or placed on a waiting list if no class is available. If you have questions about placement, please call Community Ed.
