This violin class is perfect for beginners, advanced beginners or those at the intermediate level of play. The instructor for this course is Abbey Terry, an active performer and music instructor. Students will develop an understanding of how to play the violin from scratch, demonstrate the ability to hold the bow, violin and shoulder rest correctly. Students will also learn the terminology, read basic music notation, practice effectively, and demonstrate reading music more fluently. Students are responsible for renting or purchasing instruments, plus scores, lesson books and collections as assigned. Please note that your registration does not confirm your enrollment in the piano class. You will be contacted once assigned to an available class or placed on a waiting list if no class is available.
