Get Creative with Canva

3rd - 5th Grade Class

In this eight-week course, students in grades 3-5 will explore Canva to create images, presentations, posters, and videos. They'll learn essential design skills like photo editing, video creation, and storytelling, while building confidence in digital media. By the end of the course, each student will have an online portfolio showcasing their projects, including designs and videos created throughout the course. This portfolio will celebrate their creativity and provide a solid foundation for future digital projects.

6th - 7th Grade Class

This hands-on course empowers students to master Canva’s advanced features for image editing, marketing materials, video creation, and stop-motion animation. Through engaging projects, students will refine their design skills, create media content, and promotional graphics. By the end, they’ll build a portfolio of professional-quality designs and complete a final creative project. Perfect for young creators looking to elevate their digital design skills!

Note: There is no ASP transport for this class.  Parents of students in grades 3-5 must drop-off and pick-up. RHMS students can stay after school and report to the media center for this class.
