Making Your Mark: A Playful Introduction to Printmaking!
Get ready to have fun exploring the art of printmaking in a six-week course designed for third-fifth grade students! Each week we will dive into a different printing process that will bring your creativity to life. We will explore the fun of monoprinting to create one-of-a-kind prints using various surfaces. In addition, we will experiment with image transfers and creating our own relief prints which will allow the reproduction of our designs to our hearts' content! Whether you are a budding artist or just love getting a little messy, this class is all about having fun and experiencing the endless possibilities of printmaking!
Ms. Suozzo is a Savannah native entering her sixth year in public education as an art educator. Prior to the public sector she worked in a private school creating enriching programs such as a recycled materials fashion show for middle schoolers! Currently Ms. Suozzo teaches at RHES where she shares her love for the visual arts with her students. Outside of school, she enjoys recreational sports, traveling, hiking and visiting museums whilst out and about. In addition, Ms. Suozzo also regularly takes pottery and other workshops to stay sharp in her own skillset as an artist.
