Pickleball Camp
In pickleball summer camp, campers will experience a fun and active learning environment as they rotate between two key areas: on-court play and off-court skill-building activities. On the courts, players will practice fundamental skills like serving, rallying, footwork, and court positioning through structured drills and live games. They will learn how to properly grip the paddle, develop their underhand and overhand serves, and work on their accuracy and consistency in rallying. Throughout these activities, the focus will be on improving technique, teamwork, and understanding the basic rules of the game including scoring and court boundaries.
Off the courts, campers will engage in agility drills and strategy discussions to improve their coordination, reaction time, and overall gameplay awareness. These activities will help players stay sharp and recover between matches while also reinforcing the skills they practice on the court. Campers will rotate between these on-court and off-court sections to keep things engaging and balanced, ensuring they have both active play and skill development throughout the camp.
On the final day of camp, they will participate in a fun tournament where they put all they learned to the test. By the end of camp, players will have a solid understanding of pickleball rules and gameplay, feel more confident in their abilities, and have a lot of fun while building new friendships!"
Open to students entering grades 3 - 5 and 6 - 8. Bus transport is NOT available for this camp. Before and after care are NOT available for this camp.
