This is the mandatory registration form and $25 fee for Summer Camp 2025. It is an annual fee and process to be completed as the first step in enrolling in Community Education's Summer Camp 2025.
Great course for first-time drivers. Includes 30 hours of classroom or virtual instruction and six hours behind the wheel. Must have learners permit.
Basketball Camp at MES
This camp is designed to teach kids the fundamentals of basketball. Lessons will focus on shooting form, dribbling skills, and passing. The class is taught by Mario Anderson, an experienced basketball coach and former player. Mr. Anderson has coached basketball at the middle school, high school, and college levels. Beginners and experienced students are welcome. Students will have the opportunity to play five on five against each other. Developing a positive culture that promotes self-confidence, teamwork, and fun will be the foundation. Students will be engaged in various drills and games to help improve their basketball fundamentals. Maximum 24 students for this class. Open to students entering grades 3 - 5. There is no bus transport for this camp. No before or after care is available for this camp.
Mario Anderson played four years of high school varsity basketball at Sol C. Johnson high school, then lead his team to win the State Championhip in the early 90s. At the collegiate level, Coach Anderson played at Middle Georgia and Armstrong St. University, and, after college, played overseas in Melbourne, Australia. He has also coached seventh grade boys, high school girls, and division II men’s teams. He is currently on the teaching staff at McAllister Elementary School.
