Kids in the Kitchen

Youth Enrichment -
Community Education 2020-2021

These cooking sessions are a great way for kids to learn about proper nutrition and kitchen skills. Each class will focus on a nutrition component or a cooking skill and include a recipe prepared in class. Some recipes will be done as a group and some will be done individually. Appliances such as a toaster oven, hot plate and griddle will be used. Depending on the age and maturity level, students will be allowed to help use these devices with close monitoring by the instructor. First session will include four classes.
