Science Camp

Branches of Science

What is science? Is it a subject in school? A way of thinking? A career? Science is knowledge and understanding of the world around us. In the Branches of Science camp, students will spend a day with a branch of science to really explore it. Branches of science will feature Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geology, and Astronomy. Students will investigate, play, create, and experiment in each branch of science. The camp is taught by Cynthia Youmans. Mrs. Youmans teaches science at Richmond Hill Middle School and enjoys helping young minds learn how much fun science can be. She has 16 years of classroom experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Presbyterian College and a MED from Armstrong Atlantic State University. This camp has a minimum number of nine and a maximum number of 15 participants. Open to students entering grades 3 - 6Before and after care are available for this camp
