Arts Festival

Arts Festival

Parents, your child will have a blast while expressing their artistic talents through different art mediums in drawing, painting, paper-mâché, and more. Arts Festival is a great camp to explore all types of art with a different theme each day. On Friday, May 29, from 3:30 p.m. - 4 p.m., family and friends can attend the Summer Camp Art Gallery and view the amazing work of these young artists. There will be art themes to develop the students’ creative expression and allow them to create wonderful, hands-on projects. Each child’s creative expression will be supported and encouraged. The Arts Festival instructor will be Helen Redding who has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts from Georgia Southern University. She has taught for the Bryan County Community Education Art Camp and the Averitt Center for the Arts for many years and is eager to guide campers through each visual art project during this fun-filled week. All materials are provided. Open to students entering grades 1 - 8Before and after care are available for this camp
