Quest for Adventure
Each day is a new adventure in the Quest for Adventure Camp! Campers will travel and enjoy the sights and sounds of Coastal Georgia and South Carolina. Each week includes a theme with field trips and activities based on the weekly theme. Campers will explore lots of creative activities throughout the summer and will enjoy sports, games, history and exploring nature in several scheduled field trips. In addition, there will be outdoor play, movies, and time to spend with old and new friends. Students will be transported by school bus for all field trips. Experienced adult instructors will accompany the students on field trips. Parents are kept informed of all activities and field trip locations with a weekly agenda for the camp. It is imperative that parents familiarize themselves with each week’s activities. Because of time constraints, the bus cannot wait for students who arrive late to camp. Students who arrive late for field trips will return home with parents. The Community Education Office reserves the right to make changes in the weekly agendas based on enrollment, scheduling conflicts, or weather conditions. Parents will be kept informed of any schedule changes. Summer Adventure Camp dates are June 1 - June 25. One camp will be offered each week with a maximum enrollment of 60 campers. The Quest for Adventure Camp fee is $150 per week. [Fee for week 1 (June 1 - June 4) is $120.] Camp hours are 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Open to students entering grades 1 - 8. Before and after care are available for Summer Adventure Camps.
